The Parasitic Ulcer Treatment Trial (PUTT) is a multi-center clinical trial investigating whether adding topical corticosteroids to the treatment regimen for Acanthamoeba Keratitis (AK) can improve vision. The study is open to individuals aged 8 and older who are experiencing ocular inflammation after at least one month of anti-amoebic therapy.

This study will evaluate the effect of topical corticosteroids vs. placebo on vision, eye pain, and clinical resolution over a period of up to 12 months.
