September 2022 – The Acanthamoeba Keratitis Eye Foundation is thrilled to share the success of the SUP-11 CITY Fundraiser 2022, where Jelle Kleijn undertook an extraordinary challenge to support AK awareness and patient advocacy.
Jelle paddled an astonishing 210 km nonstop over two days, battling tough weather conditions to raise funds for the Foundation. Despite the rain and rough waters, the dedication and spirit of everyone involved made this event a true success.
Thanks to his remarkable effort and the generosity of supporters, an incredible €5,000 was raised to help us continue our mission of education, prevention, and support for AK patients.
